Belvedere Blues Festival
The Seventh Annual Belvedere Blues Festival is set for the weekend of September 8-10, 2006. Set in a huge tent in the lot behind the Belvedere (1330 Elm Ave.), the Blues Fest brings three days of blues, oldies, rock, food and fun to Fremont County. The Fourth Annual “Eddie Ossola Memorial Toy Run” motorcycle ride will make the biggest musical event in Southern Colorado even better!

 

Eddie Ossola Toy Run
The Fourth Annual “Eddie Ossola Memorial Toy Run” will be Saturday, Sept. 9, at the tent behind Merlinos’ Belvedere Restaurant in Cañon City. Toys collected at the event will be distributed to area kids in time for Christmas! Following a blessing of the bikes at the tent, riders will depart. The run goes up through downtown Cañon City, backwards over Skyline Drive and then up Highway 50 to the Royal Gorge, where the riders will cruise to the World’s Highest Suspension Bridge. The “Eddie Ossola Memorial Toy Run” entry fee includes admission to the Royal Gorge and all of the rides and activities except the new Sky Coaster. Please register early, and show up early Saturday morning for breakfast and to get your ride instructions. Food and beverages will be available, including biscuits and gravy featuring famous Belvedere sausage!

Belvedere Blues Foundation

The Belvedere Blues Fest is presented by the “Belvedere Blues Foundation,” a local 501(c)(3) non-profit all-volunteer organization that is dedicated to the betterment of the quality of life in Fremont County. The foundation has no paid staff.

Liability Waiver
All riders and participants in the “Eddie Ossola Memorial Toy Run,” by registering for the ride, agree to hold Merlinos’ Inc., the Belvedere Blues Foundation and any and all individuals, committees, corporations or other entities in any capacity associated with the Belvedere Blues Festival and the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, harmless from any and all accidents or incidents that may occur on the Ride or at the Festival. I understand that alcohol will be served at the festival, and hold only myself responsible for any consumption of alcohol. I further understand that I may be requested to leave the Toy Run or the Belvedere Blues Festival due to over-consumption of alcohol, and I hold no one affiliated with the Belvedere Blues Festival, the Belvedere Blues Foundation, Royal Gorge Bridge and Park or any unnamed party or committee responsible. Participants agree to follow all rally instructions, to obey all traffic rules, and to have fun and enjoy the ride and the Blues Festival! My signature on the registration form on reverse side constitutes my acceptance of the above conditions.
